Dismals Canyon


Dismals Canyon offers two romantic cabins located at the north end of the conservatory. This location ensures maximum privacy. Constructed inside and out of Western Red Cedar, with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and hardwood floors.		The details of hospitality are unsurpassed - Polarfleece throws, Tiffany lamps, books, and magazines, and fresh flowers. Everything is furnished from rocking chairs to freshly ironed sheets.

Each cabin is fragrant with the scent of warm cedar.

WEEKDAYS (MONDAY - THURSDAY, except Holidays)

$132.00 per night for 2 people,
plus a one time clean-up fee of $50.00.
$154.00 per night for 6 people,
plus a one time clean-up fee of $60.00.

Each additional person over 6: $16.50 per night.
Maximum number of people per cabin is 8.

WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

$154.00 per night for 2 people,
plus a one time clean-up fee of $50.00.
$182.00 per night for 6 people,
plus a one time clean-up fee of $60.00.

Maximum number of people per cabin is 8.

MINIMUM STAY
HOLIDAYS require a 3 night minimum stay.
WEEKENDS, other than Holiday Weekends, from April 1st through November 30th require a 2 night minimum stay.

CLEAN-UP CHARGE (listed above)
There is a one time clean up fee of $50.00 for 2, and $60.00 for 6 guests per cabin.

SECURITY / DAMAGE DEPOSIT
Each Cabin requires a $175.00 damage deposit in the form of a personal check, money order, or cashier's check (credit cards not accepted) either before, or at the time of check-in. This deposit cannot be refunded at check-out, but will be refunded within 10 days of your departure, if there has been no damage or excessive cleaning required at your cabin. Violating the Pet Policy, building fires in the fireplace between May 1 & October 1, or exceeding the maximum occupancy for a cabin will also result in the forfeiture of the damage deposit.
One person in your party must be at least 21 years of age.

PET DEPOSIT / POLICY
Pets up to 50 pounds are permitted for an additional one-time clean-up fee of $25.00 per pet, per cabin. An additional damage deposit of $75.00 per cabin is also required. This damage deposit will be refunded pursuant to the terms stated above under SECURITY / DAMAGE DEPOSIT. Pets must be on leashes at all times. NO PETS may be chained/tied anywhere outside the cabin.

PAYMENT:
Reservations may be made by credit card, check, or cash. If the reservation request is made at least 14 days in advance, a deposit equal to the total rent is due within 5 days from the date of your reservation request. If payment is not received within 5 days from the date of your reservation request, the reservation will be cancelled due to the high demand for these accommodations. A reservation request made less than 14 days in advance can only be made by credit card unless a deposit equal to the total rent is tendered by check or cash at the time the reservation request is made. We will be happy to process your payment at the time of taking the reservation by use of your Mastercard or Visa. Payment by personal check, cashier's check, or cash can be made but must follow the 5 day / 14 day guidelines as stated above.

CANCELLATION:
Cancellations affect us significantly because of our size. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellation of a confirmed Cabin Reservation must be made at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations, regardless of the reason, made within 30 days of your arrival date will result in forfeiture of your total deposit, less cleanup fee & damage deposit. NO CANCELLATION is allowed for any reservation made less than 30 days in advance. All reservations/deposits are non-transferable to another date. However, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. All reservation cancellations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
You may check in any time after 4:00 P.M. at the Dismals Canyon Country Store. We will attempt to accommodate early arrivals, but we cannot guarantee cabin availability before 4:00 P.M.

Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. There may be occasional check-in delays during times of heavy departures. Our staff will do everything possible to minimize your inconvenience and to make you comfortable during your wait. No refunds will be given for early departures.
